KTSM News – El Paso Police ask for your help in missing woman, dog last seen in Upper Valley

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department is asking for your help in finding a woman who went missing with her dog on Sunday, Feb. 2 in El Paso’s Upper Valley.

At roughly 8 a.m. on Feb. 2, Chaninton Clysowan Avery, 67, entered her vehicle with her boxer dog and left her residence, located around the 5500 block of Last Waltz Dr.

Avery’s vehicle is described as a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country van, maroon in color and has a Texas license plate of GL89ZP, according to police.

According to police, Avery has early stages of dementia and does not have a cell phone or any other means of communication.

If you see Avery, you are urged to contact the El Paso Police at 911 for emergencies or (915) 832-4400 for non-emergencies.
