KTSM News – 1 person hurt in multi-vehicle crash in far East El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person was injured and transported to a hospital and two other people refused transport for further medical treatment after a multi-vehicle crash Monday night, Feb. 3 in far East El Paso, an El Paso Fire spokesperson said.

The crash happened at about 7:45 p.m. at northbound Joe Battle and Montwood.

The crash involved a semi-truck and three other vehicles.

One person was transported Code 1 (minor injuries). Two other people refused transport.

The Texas Department of Transportation said all northbound lanes on Joe Battle are closed at the crash site. Backup is reported as being minor. Clearing time is until further notice.
