KTSM News – Lucchese to open ‘flagship’ store in Downtown El Paso

Posted on February 7, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Lucchese will hold a grand opening celebration Saturday, Feb. 8, for its new flagship store in Downtown El Paso.

The grand opening will be from 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. Saturday at 127 W Mills Ave. The community is invited to stop by and enjoy live music as well as beverages from the El Paso Tasting Room.

Lucchese is primarily known for its selection of handmade cowboy boots and casual footwear. The flagship store also offers a fitting room, a custom boot area, and a hidden passageway to a tasting lounge.

This will be Lucchese’s third location in El Paso. They also have 20 other stores around Texas.

Fallon Appleton, Lucchese’s senior manager of brand communications, says Lucchese has been in El Paso since the late 1980s.

“It’s where our boots are made. It’s where our distribution center is. It’s where our customer service is and we’re just really excited to continue to expand here and be part of this community,” Appleton said.

Appleton says even though Lucchese has already established two stores in El Paso, the flagship store will offer more apparel to customers.

“And so what’s really different is at our two factory outlets you can find some one-of-a-kind pieces there. Here at this new location, you’re gonna be able to shop our latest styles, what we’re putting out brand-new,” Appleton said.

Appleton says the brand dresses people from head to toe and has a large variety of apparel for everyone.

“If people have never tried on a Lucchese boot, we really encourage people to come in, try and really feel the difference for yourselves. Our boots are handcrafted here in El Paso. They are made from the highest quality materials and so it’s an exciting time to really come and feel the difference from boots made right here in El Paso,” Appleton said.

Lucheese’s Downtown location, 127 W. Mills Ave., Suite B., is open from 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. from Mondays through Saturdays. The store is open from 12 p.m. through 5 p.m. on Sundays.

Lucheese’s East location, at 6601 Montana Ave., is open from 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. from Mondays through Saturdays. The store is open from 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Lucheese’s Central location, 11751 Gateway West Blvd., is open from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. from Monday through Saturday. The store is open from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. on Sunday.
