EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A new two-day El Paso Community College (EPCC) event will celebrate students who are parents and their children this weekend.
The Family Friendly Conference, which is free and open to the public, will be held as follows, according to EPCC:
- From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, at the EPCC Northwest Campus Library, 6701 S. Desert Blvd.
- From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the EPCC Mission del Paso Campus Building R, 10700 Gateway Blvd. E.
EPCC said the event is designed to teach about achieving success in college while having fun through various activities, workshops, and information tables.
Free pizza and t-shirts will be available at noon each day, along with a free children’s closet, EPCC said.
