EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Saturday, El Paso! You can plan for seasonal average temperatures to close out the weekend along with one buffer day from the winds before the gusty conditions return.
For Saturday and Sunday, mostly sunny conditions are expected along with a high in the low 60s. Lows will drop to the lower 40s. Unlike your Saturday though, winds will be much calmer come Sunday. Expect light, variable winds from 5-10 mph to end the weekend.
Come Monday, however, those winds will increase in speed once again gusting near 30 mph. To start the workweek, we will see a high near 75 and low around 45. Temperatures begin to drop on Tuesday with the high near 70. Winds still persist, increasing to 15-20 mph in the afternoon and gusts near 30 mph. Calmer conditions are expected on Wednesday with a cooler high near 60. Winds will be blowing from the east around 10-15 mph, with gusts near 20 mph in some areas. A low in the mid-30s is expected.
That cooler air will drop our highs to the lower 60s on Thursday and upper 60s on Friday. Mostly sunny skies will be present on both days, while lows will be in the mid-30s to lower 40s range.
