EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Sunday, El Paso! Hopefully, you’re taking advantage of the light, calm winds on Sunday because strong gusts return Monday and Tuesday.
We’ll see warmer-than-average temperatures to begin the workweek. Monday will have a high at 75 and low near 45, with Tuesday slightly cooler at 71 and low near 40. Both days are trending to be very windy with winds nearing 25 mph and gusts around 35 mph. Blowing dust in some areas is a strong possibility.
As winds calm down Tuesday night, a weak cold front enters the system dropping temperatures closer to average for this time of year. Wednesday will see a high near 63 and low around 40 with Thursday very similar. Light, cooler breezes will be present along with some cloud coverage.
Friday will begin a gradual warming trend where high temperatures slowly increase throughout the rest of the nine days. The lows will be in the lower 40s through Tuesday where very warm highs are tracking near 80.
