EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Chihuahuas are seeking singers and performers to take center stage and perform the national anthem at home games during the 2025 season.
Those who are interested in applying can follow the directions listed below:
- Create a 90-second YouTube video performing the national anthem by memory. Singers must perform a cappella.
- Fill out the audition form and upload the video at www.milb.com/el-paso/community/national-anthem.
- Failure to comply with the rules may result in disqualification.

Local bands and choirs with 20 or more members who would like to perform the national anthem at a Chihuahuas game, can receive special savings on tickets. For more information, call 915-533-BASE (2273).
Opening Day is slated for Friday, March 28 at Southwest University Park in a three-game series against the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels) and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, Feb. 28.
