EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Texas Governor Greg Abbott will be making an “economic development” announcement on Thursday, Feb. 20, in Vinton, Texas regarding the Texas Jobs, Energy, Technology, and Innovation program, according to a press release from the Governor’s press office.
The Governor’s press office says Abbott will make the announcement at 2 p.m. at Vinton Steel, a fabrication shop in Vinton, Texas.
Abbott will be joined by Vinton Steel Chairman Masahiro Kitada, El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego, Vinton Mayor Rachel Quintana, and Borderplex Alliance CEO Jon Barela.
