Video above: Sun Metro employee killed after explosion at center
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Scherr Law Firm and Robert L. Collins and Associates will hold a joint press conference Monday morning, Feb. 24 to address the Sun Metro facility explosion that ultimately killed one person and injured several other people this month.
The press conference will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Monday in front of the El Paso County Courthouse. Both law firms represent several victims who were injured in the explosion and are expected to discuss potential legal action.
As we have previously reported, the Sun Metro Transit Operations Center caught fire after an explosion on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
Eight people were ultimately injured, including two people who were flown to a burn center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ruben Ibarra, one of the two people who were flown to Arizona for treatment died on Thursday evening, Feb. 13.
