EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Water will break ground on what the utility is calling a “state-of-the-art advanced water purification facility.”
The utility will break ground on the facility later this week along Pan American Drive in El Paso’s Lower Valley.
“The unique facility will use a robust treatment process to transform recycled water into high-quality drinking water, which will be distributed directly to customers. The plant will provide up to 10 million gallons per day of safe, reliable and sustainable water,” El Paso Water said.
Completion is expected by 2028.
