EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 36-year-old man has died after he was shot Wednesday night, Feb. 26, a few blocks away from New Mexico State University (NMSU), according to the Las Cruces Police Department.
Police say at around 8 p.m. that Wednesday, they were dispatched to the 2100 block of Lynch Drive to a report of a victim with a gunshot wound.
First responders arrived to find Justin Griffin, 36, unresponsive on the roadway. He appeared to have suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
