KTSM News – Co-founder of Operation Hope, Angel Gomez has died

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Angel Gomez, the co-founder of Operation H.O.P.E. has died, according to a post on the organization’s Facebook. He was 70-years-old.

The organization says Gomez died on Thursday, Feb. 27. They did not specify how he died.

“Our Angel lived an extraordinary life filled with love, laughter, and servitude,” the organization said.

The organization also says that Gomez was a loved, joyous, respected, remarkable, and cherished man.

“He meant many things to many people. So, whether you call him husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, or friend, always call him loved,” the organization said.
