EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two people were hurt in a residential structure fire Sunday morning, March 2 in Las Cruces and were transported to a local hospital for treatment, Las Cruces Fire said.
Las Cruces Fire responded to a structure fire just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday along the 4500 block of Nambe Arc.
Las Cruces Fire said there were two reports of two people trapped inside.


Upon arrival crews found a room on fire. The fire was brought under control in approximately 10 minutes from units arriving on scene.
A total of 18 firefighters and investigating personnel responded to the incident.
The two occupants of the home were transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained while exiting the structure, Las Cruces Fire said.
The cause of the fire and damage estimates have yet to be determined.
