EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A fire damaged a shed behind a medical facility on Tuesday morning, March 11, on South Telshor Boulevard in Las Cruces, the Las Cruces Fire Department (LCFD) said.
LCFD said crews were dispatched at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday to a report of a structure fire behind a medical facility on the 1200 block of South Telshor Blvd.
Crews arrived to find a detached shed behind the facility on fire, LCFD said.
LCFD said crews quickly applied water and prevented the fire from spreading to the main structure. However, a nearby awning and a piece of equipment sustained heat damage.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire and damage estimates have yet to be determined, LCFD said.
