KTSM News – Doña Ana County to transition to .gov website

Posted on March 15, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Doña Ana County’s website is transitioning to a .gov domain starting on Monday, March 17.

According to the County, the “.gov domain is exclusively for verified government entities and helps reassure website and social media site visitors and email recipients of our accounts’ and websites’ authenticity.”

The domain also provides higher security standards and .gov domains are prioritized in search engines, according to the County.

In addition to the change in the domains, emails from Doña Ana County employees will convert to have “@donaana.gov” but both the new .gov and the existing .org domains will continue to be used throughout the transition.
