(WJW) – Dairy Queen will once again celebrate the start of spring with its Free Cone Day.
The company announced the annual event will happen on March 20 to coincide with the first day of spring.
On Thursday, DQ fans can enjoy a free small vanilla soft-serve cone by simply stopping in at a participating location nationwide. But, this year, DQ is sweetening the deal and offering soft-serve fans a chance to win “Free Cones for a Year.”
“No holiday is complete without a special treat and DQ is helping fans countdown to Free Cone Day in a big way. Now through March 19, fans can download the DQ® App and sign up for DQ Rewards to enter for a chance to win Free Cones for a Year!” read a press release.
Free cones will be available all day on March 20 while supplies last with a limit of one cone per person.
