EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 29-year-old man was arrested this past Sunday, March 23, for driving while intoxicated after running a red light in Horizon City, according to the Horizon City Police Department.
Police say just before 1 a.m. that Sunday, they conducted a traffic stop at the 14600 block of Horizon after officers observed the vehicle failed to stop at a red light.
Officers then determined the driver, Victor Manuel Contreras, 29, showed signs of intoxication and was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, police said.
Contreras was charged with DWI 2nd offense and was booked into the El Paso County Jail under a $10,000 bond.
