EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Roadways in the Deming area are currently being affected by high winds and zero visibility on Tuesday, April 1, the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) said.
The following roads are currently closed, according to NMDOT:
- NM 549 is closed at milepost 0 to milepost 18. All traffic is being diverted into Deming.
NMDOT said shelter in place locations are the Deming Learning Center, 5R Truck Stop, Deming Truck Stop, and Deming soccer fields.
