EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Fire Department quickly knocked down a fire on Tuesday afternoon, April 1 in Northeast El Paso.
The Fire Department responded at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday to the 8700 block of Echo Street in reference to what was initially called Condition 4 fire. That is near Sunrise Park.

It took crews about 20 minutes to knock down the flames at the single-story home, fire officials said.
Crews are checking for hot spots.
The fire was called a Condition 4 because of weather conditions and the possibility of catching other strutures on fire.
One person, the homeowner, is being evaluated on scene.
There are no transports at this time.
