EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – “In the world of LEGO, imagination has no limit.”

That’s the message used by the company to encourage people to explore and learn using LEGO bricks. And one school district in the Borderland is applying this method to teach its students, who had an extra special visit on Tuesday, April 1.
The Gadsden Independent School District welcomed Victor Saeijs, president of LEGO Education, on Tuesday morning. He toured North Valley Elementary School classrooms to see students actively engaged in LEGO-based instruction, the district said in a news release.
The district said Saeijs also met with district leaders and had a podcast session where he shared his insights on global education and the impact of hands-on learning.
“This visit offers a unique opportunity to showcase how GISD educators are incorporating LEGO Education into the curriculum to boost student engagement, especially for multilingual learners and students from underserved communities. LEGO Nights hosted across the district have drawn large crowds of families, and teachers continue to receive dedicated professional development in support of this initiative,” read a news release by the district.
