EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – New Mexico State University (NMSU) will host open forums next week with the three finalists for dean of the College of Health, Education and Social Transformation (HEST).
This comes after a committee at NMSU named the three finalists following a national search, NMSU said.
NMSU said the open forums will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. with each candidate in person in O’Donnell Hall, Room 111, and on Zoom.
The scheduled forums are:
- Monday, April 7: Rick Marlatt, associate dean of the NMSU Graduate School and International Affairs. Zoom link.
- Tuesday, April 8: Rashid Ahmed, tenured professor and inaugural dean of the College for Community Health at Montclair State University. Zoom link.
- Thursday, April 10: Algerian Hart, associate dean of the McQueary College of Health and Human Services at Missouri State University. Zoom link.
NMSU said Phame Camarena, dean of the Conroy Honors College, is chair of the search committee.
