EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 37-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, April 3, for having a firearm, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other drugs in the vehicle he was traveling in, the Alamogordo Police Department said.
Alamogordo Police said that Jack Christensen, 37, of Alamogordo, New Mexico, was arrested for two warrants for trafficking a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was additionally charged with two other counts of trafficking a controlled substance.
Shortly before 4:30 a.m on April 3., officers contacted a wanted male subject, later identified as Christensen, at the 1400 block of North White Sands Boulevard. He was immediately taken into custody, police said.
Alamogordo Police officers and White Mountain Drug Task Force agents obtained a search warrant for the vehicle Christensen was traveling in. The resulting search found 74 grams of methamphetamine, 263 fentanyl pills, 15 suboxone strips, a firearm and drug paraphernalia.
Christensen was booked into the Otero County Detention Center awaiting his court appearances, police said.
