EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Police Department’s Community Outreach Unit will be addressing quality-of-life issues with business owners and managers during a citywide project.
The outreach project will be done on Thursday, April 10, the Police Department said.
The Police Department’s Community Outreach will be working with Las Cruces businesses to “ease or help eradicate some of the problems they may be experiencing. Some of the issues include vandalism, trespassing, squatting, soliciting, aggressive panhandling, criminal damage to property and abandoned shopping carts to name a few,” the Police Department said.
Business owners or managers who are experiencing any of these problems – or other issues that could benefit from some attention – are encouraged to email the Community Outreach unit at CommunityOutreach@lascruces.gov.
Owners or managers can also comment their requests on LCPD’s Facebook page before 9 a.m. Thursday, April 10.
