EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Residents in rural communities who need to make property tax payments or need to ask questions can visit the Doña Ana County Treasurer’s Office’s off-site centers later this month.
During the week of April 21, the Doña Ana County Treasurer’s Office will provide off-site convenient payment and customer service opportunities, according to the news release by Doña Ana County.
“We will continue to host offsite opportunities to make service, payment options and information more accessible and convenient for residents,” County Treasurer Marisol Richardson said. “I’m here to serve residents and continuously seek ways to communicate openly and introduce new initiatives that enhance our efficiency.”
The following offsite locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.:
- Monday, April 21
- Lake Section Water, 303 Paseo Real Drive; Chaparral
- Tuesday, April 22
- Anthony City Hall, 820 Highway 478; Anthony
- Wednesday, April 23
- Sunland Park City Hall, 1000 McNutt Road
- Thursday, April 24
- Hatch Village Office, 133 Franklin St.
Residents can make payments, ask questions and take care of other tax-related property concerns, according to Doña Ana County.
Second-half property taxes are due on Saturday, May 10, and payments can be made at the Government Center, located at 845 N. Motel Blvd.
According to the County, payments can also be made through the following methods:
- Mail. Use the self-addressed envelope provided with the tax notice.
- 24-hour drop box just outside the Government Center’s main entrance, 845 N. Motel Blvd. in Las Cruces.
- Online, at www.donaanacounty.org/treasurer
