EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso’s Environmental Services Department (ESD) will close the Greater El Paso Landfill and its five Citizen Collection Stations early Friday, April 18 to the general public due to the low visibility and high winds.
The landfill and the five Citizen Collection Stations, or drop-off sites, will close at 3 p.m. as a precaution, the City said.
Weather permitting, the landfill and the five collection stations will resume normal operating hours Saturday. For more information, call (915) 212.6000.
