EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Early voting begins Tuesday, April 22 for the May 3 election for a handful of school districts and smaller jurisdictions around El Paso County.
Early voting lasts through Tuesday, April 29 and will include Saturday and Sunday, the El Paso County Elections Department said.
This is not a countywide election. Jurisdictions that will have elections are: Haciendas Del Norte Water Improvement District; El Paso Independent School District; Socorro Independent School District; San Elizario Independent School District; El Paso Community College; Town of Anthony, Village of Vinton; Town of Horizon City; and City of San Elizario.
“With eight days of early voting, including Saturday and Sunday, voters can choose a time that best fits their schedule and often avoid long lines that are more common on Election Day,” the Elections Department said.
