EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Francella Baca is a long-time painter and now the first tattoo artist in the Borderland to exhibit her tattoo work at the International Museum of Art.
Her solo exhibition “Conversations with the Universe” kicks off at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 at 1211 Montana Ave.
Baca will talk about her work starting at 3 p.m. on Sunday but she also shared the inspiration behind her art on KTSM 9 News Today with Ian Roth and Karla Draksler.
She explained she is connected with her intuition and finds inspiration in her dreams and in nature.
The exhibition will combine both her paintings and tattoo work that she likes to individually curate for each customer.
You can catch her exhibits until May 24 at the International Museum of Art.
