What a weekend!!! Severe t-storms, non-severe t-storms, gusty winds and dust, and an earthquake!! Wow!! (5.3 magnitude at 7:47 PM Saturday with its epicenter in Texas, 35.42 miles south of Whites City, NM) It was the first earthquake I actually felt in my life, and I’m not sure I want to feel another. Though I cannot forecast earthquakes, I can give you your exclusive 9-Hour Forecast for Tuesday:
TONIGHT: The skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with gusty winds. West of El Paso, we’ll see a few isolated showers and t-storms. The west winds will range from 15-35 mph with the strongest gusts on the east slopes of the mountains. These winds may stir up a little bit of a dusty haze. The low will be 56.
FORECAST: Tuesday will be windy and cooler as a cold front blows in. The west winds will range from 15-40 mph with the strongest gusts on the east slopes of the mountains. Expect a slight dusty haze by Tuesday afternoon under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Tuesday’s high: 73. Wednesday will be sunny and beautiful with a high of 80. The winds will be light and variable at 5-15 mph. Thursday will be partly cloudy with a high of 83 and fairly light winds. Friday will be sunny and beautiful with a high of 87. On Saturday, the winds shift SE and start to charge up our humidity for Mother’s Day Weekend. Saturday will be partly cloudy and 85 with a slight chance of isolated late day t-storms. Sunday will be partly cloudy and 89 with a chance of isolated late day t-storms. Sunday morning should be sunny and gorgeous for Mother’s Day.
