EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Multiple regional fire agencies were dispatched to a mobile house fire on Wednesday afternoon, May 7, in far East El Paso County.
The call of the fire came in at 2:41 p.m. on May 7 at the 13000 block of Amherst Drive.






Socorro, Clint and Horizon Fire Departments, along with Life Ambulance, were dispatched to a single-story mobile house fire, according to Horizon Assistant Fire Chief Daniel Ames.
When units arrived, the mobile home was “fully involved,” Ames said.
The fire was reported as a Condition 1 fire and fire crews has the fire under control within six minutes, Ames said.
Ames said that there was one person hurt but no transports were made. No firefighters were hurt.
A total of 18 firefighters and seven units from the three agencies responded to the fire, Ames said.
There were minor damages done to the adjacent structure, Ames said.
Ames said that the fire is under investigation.
