EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) El Paso has released a list of road closures for the week of May 9 that could affect your commute.
I-10 Widening West
Monday, May 12 through Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (as needed)
- North Desert and South Desert between Anthony and Redd alternate lane closures.
- Redd east and westbound at North and South Desert intersections alternate lane closures.
Crews will be working on electrical and miscellaneous construction work.
- I-10 west and eastbound between Redd and Resler alternate lane closures.
Crews will be paving.
I-10 Widening West 2
Monday, May 12 through Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (as needed)
- I-10 east and westbound between Anthony and Nashua alternate lane closure.
- North and South Desert between Anthony and Nashua alternate lane closure.
Crews will be working on dirt work and miscellaneous removals.
Sunday, May 11 and Monday, May 12, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 West from Vinton to Anthony full closure.
- Detour: All traffic will exit at Vinton to North Desert and reenter I-10 past Anthony.
Crews will working on overhang deck panel placements.
Thursday, May 15, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- I-10 east and westbound between Nashua and Vinton left lane closed.
Crews will be working on bridge deck placement.
Artcraft
Monday, May 12 through Friday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Artcraft east and westbound between Stateline and Doniphan Alternating alternate lane closed.
Crews will be hauling construction material and performing electrical work.
Monday, May 12 through Thursday, May 15, nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Artcraft east- and westbound between Stateline and Doniphan alternating lane closed.
Crews will be shifting traffic control barrier.

- Artcraft eastbound between Stateline and Doniphan closed.
Crews will be modifying traffic control to switch traffic.

- Spur-601 eastbound at Global Reach exit (25) ramp closed.
- Spur-601 eastbound at Constitution Ave (exit 26) ramp closed.
Lane Control System Removal
Monday, May 12, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- Loop 375 East closed from Fonseca to Padres exit.
Traffic will be detoured to Fonseca.
Contractor will be removing lane control systems.

- US 54 northbound between Cassidy and Spur 601 right lane closed.

- Loop 375 westbound between Midway and Fonseca right lane closed.
Crews will be working on guardrail repair.
Spall Repair
Tuesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 15, nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- I-10 westbound between Copia and downtown alternating lane closed.
Miscellaneous Concrete Repair
Tuesday, May 13 through Friday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Gateway South between Sun Valley and Dyer alternate lane closed.
Crews will be working on curb.
Maintenance
Monday, May 12 through Friday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Gateway North between Paisano and Alameda left lane closed.
Crew will be working on trimming trees.
