EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Crews from the El Paso Fire Department put out a brush fire on Sunday evening, May 18 in East El Paso.
Brush and trees caught fire just before 9 p.m. along the 1700 block of Lee Trevino near the WellMed building and the golf course there, a Fire Department spokesperson said.
Crews had the fire under control in about a half hour. There were no injuries or transports.
Fire investigators are looking into the cause.
The fire caused police to close southbound traffic on Lee Trevino during the incident.
