EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A gas line was hit during construction Tuesday morning, May 20 in El Paso’s Lower Valley and traffic is being impacted.
A Fire Department spokesman said a gas line was hit during construction at about 10 a.m. Tuesday at North Loop and Rose Lane. That is near El Paso Community College’s Valle Verde Campus.
There were no injuries or transports from the incident. Police are on scene directing traffic.
The Texas Department of Transportation is reporting that traffic is closed down on North Loop in both directions. Clearing time is estimated to be until further notice.
Texas Gas is responding to the scene, the Fire spokesman said.
