EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person is in custody in Hudspeth County in a case involving aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman said.
Texas DPS Rangers have been asked to assist in the investigation by the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Office, the spokesman said in a statement issued on Saturday morning, May 24.
The incident happened on Thursday, May 22 in West Hudspeth County, and there is no threat to the community at this time, the DPS spokesman said.
This remains an active investigation and no other information is available at this time, he said.
