EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will offer several free workshops to assist individuals with their federal financial aid applications.
DACC’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will hold free workshops to help individuals complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA. Workshops will be held during the following dates, times and locations:
- Tuesday, May 27 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina St. inside Alex Sanchez Hall (DASH), Room 116E
- Thursday, June 5 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the East Mesa campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., in the Academic Resources building (DAAR), in Room 200
- Tuesday, June 24 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina St. inside Alex Sanchez Hall (DASH), Room 116E
These sessions will assist incoming students with completing and submitting their FAFSA applications, DACC said.
FAFSA helps students become eligible for grants, scholarships, work-study programs and loans for college.
Workshops will help students with the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 forms. Students must bring their Social Security number or A-number if not a U.S. citizen, 2022 and 2023 federal income tax returns, child support received, current balance of cash, savings and checking accounts, bank statements and records of investments, records of untaxed income and a federal student aid ID.
