EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Electric is making improvements to its delivery system and will need a three-night closure of Interstate 10 in Northwest El Paso.
The closures will be nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning on Tuesday, May 27 and ending on Friday morning, May 30.
Commuters are asked to follow detour signs and respect construction barricades, El Paso Electric said.
Local law enforcement will be on scene to help with closures and traffic detours.
Interstate 10 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Tuesday, May 27 through Thursday morning, May 29 from North Mesa to Artcraft.
The final night’s closure will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday, May 29 to Friday morning, May 30 along I-10 between Artcraft and Transmountain.
