EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department’s DWI Task Force, in partnership with other local law-enforcement agencies, made 10 DWI arrests and issued 70 citations on Saturday, May 24.

According to the Police Department, the DWI Task Force, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the El Paso County Constable’s Office for Precinct 4 went out on Saturday “to make our streets safer by looking for intoxicated drivers.”
In addition to the arrests and other traffic violations that were made on May 24, El Paso Police also provided stats from Friday, May 23.
For May 23, a total of 12 DWI arrests were made from all the participating agencies and 72 citations were issued.
