EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A woman was seriously injured in a head-on crash Saturday evening, May 31 outside of Deming in Luna County, New Mexico State Police said.
The crash happened at about 7:20 p.m. along New Mexico Highway 26 near milepost 4.
A woman, driving a passenger car, for “unknown reasons,” crossed over into the opposite lane and crashed head-on into a semi-truck, State Police said.
The woman’s car rolled because of the impact. The woman was transported to a local hospital and her current condition is unknown, State Police said.
The driver and passenger in the semitruck were not hurt. Officers are still at the scene investigating.
