Posted on June 2, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Bureau of Land Management is increasing fees at two popular recreational sites in Lincoln County, starting on July 1.

The BLM said it will increase fees at the Rob Jaggers Campground and the Valley of the Fires Recreation Area.

Here is a rundown of what the fees will be at the two facilities: RV camping fees will cost $25 per night; camping fees with horse corral access at Rob Jaggers will cost $30 per night; tent camping at Valley of Fires will cost $15 per night; the dump station fee at Valley of Fires will cost $30 or be included in camping fees; at Valley of Fires the daily cost for use of a group campsite will be $35; a new site-specific annual pass at Valley of Fires will cost $30; and the fees for all day-use single vehicles at Valley of Fires will be $5.

The Southern New Mexico Resource Advisory Council approved the fee changes at a meeting in January. Find the full business plans here: www.blm.gov/programs/recreation/permits-and-fees/business-plans.
