EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 41-year-old man has died after a T-bone crash this past Friday, June 6, in El Paso’s Upper Valley, according to El Paso Police.
Police say they responded to a two-vehicle crash that Friday night at the intersection of Doniphan Drive and Redd Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 51-year-old man was traveling North on Doniphan Drive while Raymundo Carlos Martinez, 41, and a 10-year-old girl were passengers in the vehicle.
The 51-year-old man began to make a U-turn at the intersection of Redd Road when an SUV T-boned them, police said.
The 10-year-old girl, Martinez, and the driver of the SUV were all transported to a local hospital. Martinez died as a result of his injuries.
The Special Traffic Investigations unit was requested at the scene and continues to investigate the crash.
This is the 26th traffic fatality compared to 28 at this same time last year, police said.
