EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso’s electric streetcars will offer free rides and extended service on Friday and Saturday, June 13-14 for the Coldplay concerts at UTEP.
Riders may board the streetcars in Downtown El Paso or at any of its 27 stops along its 4.8-mile route. For real-time schedule information, users can download the Ride Sun Metro App.
On June 13-14, the final boarding from the Glory Road stop, located near the Sun Bowl, will take place at midnight. Routes start at 7 a.m. on Fridays, and noon on Saturdays.
The vintage streetcars adorned with original color-schemes from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, are equipped with modern amenities such as bike racks, ADA accessibility, and free WiFi.
