EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Fire Department announced the death of one of its lieutenants on Friday, June 27.
The Fire Department says Lieutenant Neal Douglas, who was assigned to Pumper 19 C-Shift, has died.
“Lieutenant Douglas served the El Paso Fire Department and our community for over 20 years with great pride and professionalism. His presence, leadership, and dedication left a lasting impact on those who worked alongside him, and his loss is felt deeply by us all,” the Fire Department said.
The Fire Department says services are scheduled at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 7, in Cloudcroft, New Mexico, and that more details will be shared when they become available.
The Fire Department did not say what led up to Douglas’ death.
