EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Interstate 10 east is closed Saturday evening, June 28 in the Bootheel of New Mexico because of high winds, the New Mexico Department of Transportation said.
The road is closed from mile marker 29 (Lordsburg Turbin) heading east toward Deming, NMDOT said.
Westbound traffic is still being allowed but it is being escorted.
High-profile vehicles are urged to use extreme caution.
