EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — About 3,000 customers in the Santa Teresa area are without power on Monday evening, June 30, according to El Paso Electric’s outage map.
The power outage started at about 6:30 p.m. and power is expected to be restored by 8:45 p.m., according to the outage map.
A passing thunderstorm is the likely cause, an El Paso Electric spokesperson said.
Crews have been assigned to the incident and are working to restore power.
