KTSM News – Crime of Week: 2 men break into smoke shop, steal $3K in merchandise

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) –El Paso Police and Crime Stoppers of El Paso are seeking your help in finding two men who were recorded breaking into a smoke shop in East El Paso and stealing nearly $3,000 in merchandise.

This is this week’s Crime of the Week, as publicized by Crime Stoppers.

At 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, two men broke the front window to the Puffs to Go Smoke Shop at 1475 George Dieter, according to Crime Stoppers.

The suspects climbed over wrought iron bars and entered the store.  Once inside, the pair began placing a variety of items into duffle bags. 

They fled the scene with a variety of items totaling $2,886.75, Crime Stoppers said.

The suspects also caused an estimated $1,200 in damage to the business, according to Crime Stoppers.

Both suspects appear to be of average height and weight, Crime Stoppers said. They were wearing black hooded jackets and facemasks.
