KTSM News – Part of I-10 closed after pedestrian found on road in East El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Part of Interstate 10 at Yarbrough is closed after a pedestrian was transported to a hospital with serious injuries on Sunday morning, July 13, in East El Paso.

According to the El Paso Police Department, the call came in at 10 a.m. on July 13 about a traffic hazard that turned out to be a pedestrian on the roadway.

El Paso Police said one person was transported with injuries. Police did not identify the person or say what led up to the incident.

The El Paso Fire Department confirmed the pedestrian was transported with serious injuries (Code 3).

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is saying the right two lanes on I-10 East at Yarbrough are closed.

Clearing time for all lane closures is roughly an hour, TxDOT said.
