EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Village of Ruidoso is reporting “rapidly rising floodwaters” in several locations on Monday, July 14.
The Village is reporting that water is rapidly rising in both the Upper Canyon area and the Brady Canyon area.
Residents in those areas are urged to go to higher ground or to shelter in place on high ground.
People are urged not to cross low water points or water on the road.
KTSM 9 News Chief Meteorologist Robert Bettes said the Ruidoso area is under a flash flood warning until 4 p.m.
Ruidoso experienced catastrophic flash flooding on July 8 that killed three people, including two children, and damaged homes, businesses and vehicles.
