EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 53-year-old man has been arrested on an active warrant for disregarding a court’s order and failing to pay child support.
El Paso County Constable’s Office for Precinct 3 said it arrested Raul Guevara, 53. According to the Constable’s Office, he failed to appear at a court hearing and disregarded the court’s child support orders.
Guevara was located along 14700 block of Truscott and taken into custody, the Constable’s Office said.
He was booked into the County jail without further incident.
The Constable’s Office for Precinct 3 said it would be cracking down on people with criminal warrants for failure to pay child support, saying these type of warrants are often overlooked.
