EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Funeral services and a procession for fallen Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Antonio Aleman are scheduled for Thursday, July 17.
The funeral mass will begin at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, located at 5750 Doniphan Dr, in El Paso.
Aleman died in the line of duty July 8 following a crash on Interstate 10 in Las Cruces.
A police-led procession from Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West funeral home, located at 5054 Doniphan Drive, in El Paso, will begin at 10:30 a.m.
The procession will arrive at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10:45 a.m.
Mourners who wish to attend the funeral mass are welcome but should be aware that the family of Aleman, law-enforcement personnel and other dignitaries will be seated first, the County said.
Following the church service, Aleman will be escorted by DASO and other local law enforcement to his final resting place at Memorial Pines Cemetary, located at 3061 Memorial Pines Lane, in Sunland Park.
DASO is asking that all attendees display respect for the family, friends and colleagues of Aleman.
