EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A woman has been arrested after she allegedly injured another driver in a crash and then fled the scene on foot earlier this month, according to the El Paso Constable’s Office for Precinct 3.
Samantha Nicole Martinez, 27, was arrested on Tuesday, July 15 on an active warrant for collision involving injury with a bond of $7,500.
According to the Constable’s Office, Martinez was involved in a crash on July 9 at the intersection of Boone and Delta in South-Central El Paso.
She allegedly fled the accident on foot. The other driver was injured in the crash, according to the Constable’s Office.
Martinez was arrested on Tuesday along the 900 block of Sun Fire and taken into custody. She was then booked into El Paso County Jail.
