EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The 2025-26 school year is just around the corner, and one district in the Borderland is going back to school as soon as next week.

The Clint Independent School District will officially start the new school year on Monday, July 21.
The district said that approximately 10,500 students across 13 campuses are expected to fill classrooms.
Over 1,600 teachers, administrators, and staff have been preparing for weeks, ensuring that all schools are ready to provide a “welcoming, safe, and enriching” environment for all students, the district said.
The start times for each Clint ISD campuses are as follows, according to the district:
High schools
- Horizon High School: 8:45 a.m. (14651 Horizon Blvd.)
- Clint High School: 8:30 a.m. (13890 Alameda Ave.)
- Mountain View High School: 8:30 a.m. (14964 Greg Dr.)
Middle schools
- Horizon Middle School: 7:45 a.m. (400 N Kenazo Ave.)
- Ricardo Estrada Middle School: 7:45 a.m. (851 South Darrington Rd.)
- Clint Junior High School: 7:45 a.m. (12625 Alameda Ave.)
- East Montana Middle School: 7:45 a.m. (3490 N Ascencion St.)
Elementary schools
- Desert Hills Elementary: 7:20 a.m. (300 N Kenazo Ave.)
- Frank Macias Elementary: 7:20 a.m. (14400 Golden Eagle Dr.)
- Carroll T. Welch Elementary: 7:20 a.m. (14510 McMahon Dr.)
- W.D. Surratt Elementary: 7:20 a.m. (12675 Alameda Ave.)
- Montana Vista Elementary: 7:20 a.m. (3550 Mark Jason Dr.)
- Red Sands Elementary: 7:20 a.m. (4250 O’Shea Rd.)
